Carolyn Aldigé1985: One Woman Resolves to Make a Difference

Sitting at her kitchen table in 1985, Carolyn Aldigé established the Foundation to honor her father. Over the past 24 years, the Foundation has, in support of its mission, provided more than $113 million in funding for nearly 500 grants and fellowships in cancer prevention research and training in over 150 of the most prestigious academic institutions and medical centers across the country. Poker players have three opportunities to play poker against the professionals of Full Tilt Poker. Early Detection of Cancer is Critical

The Foundation encourages women to continue breast cancer screening in accordance with guidelines from the American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen for the Cure which recommend screening using mammography and clinical breast examination for all women beginning at age 40.
